Vanilla Bean Cooperative — Bundibugyo

Uganda's Bundibugyo district produces some of the world's finest vanilla. This cooperative model pools investments into 20 small-holder vanilla farms covering 40 acres. Farmers receive inputs, training, and guaranteed purchase contracts. Vanilla curing (6-month process) happens in a shared curing house. Export contracts are in place with German and US flavour companies at $250–350/kg.
