Turkey Farm — Wakiso (Christmas & Eid Supply)

Turkey demand spikes 400% at Christmas and Eid Al-Adha, but domestic production is almost nil. This project imports 2,000 Bronze/Broad White turkey poults and raises them for 20 weeks. Each bird reaches 10–14kg. Hotels and supermarkets pre-purchase at UGX 150,000–200,000/bird. Two production cycles per year (for Christmas and Eid). Farm also produces turkey eggs sold to specialty bakers.
