South Sudan Sorghum Farm — Equatoria

South Sudan imports 70% of its food despite fertile land in Equatoria. This 500-acre sorghum and sesame farm targets WFP and USAID food assistance supply contracts. Government provides 10-year lease on fertile Equatoria land at nominal cost. The WFP country contract guarantees purchase of 80% of production at fair prices. This is a development-impact investment combining returns with food security impact.
