Pork is Kampala's most popular nyama choma (roast meat). Demand far exceeds local supply. This project runs a 200-sow indoor pig unit near Mukono with a small-scale processing plant for sausages, ham, and fresh pork. Piglets are sold at UGX 250,000 each; finished pigs at 100kg yield UGX 1.5M+. Waste is biodigested for cooking gas and fertiliser (zero-waste farm model).
