Crocodile Farm — Entebbe (Leather & Tourism)

Uganda Wildlife Authority licenses a limited number of crocodile farms for conservation breeding. This farm starts with 300 hatchlings and grows to 1,000 animals. Crocodile leather (skin) commands $200–800 per skin in European luxury markets (Hermès, Gucci supply chains). The farm doubles as an eco-tourism attraction at Entebbe, near the international airport. Meat is sold to Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant markets in Kampala.
