Commercial Poultry Farm — Wakiso (5,000 Layers)

Kampala consumes over 3 million eggs per day with only 40% local supply. This project builds a modern battery cage layer facility with 5,000 ISA Brown layers. Each hen produces 300+ eggs per year. At current egg prices (UGX 350–400/egg), daily revenue exceeds UGX 500,000. Feed is partially from on-farm maize milling. Eggs are sold daily to Nakumatt, Shoprite, and local markets.
